Europe Alps and Lakes Motorcycle Tour

On this 9 day KeaRider motorcycle tour through the Alps, you can experience the panoramic mountain scenery. From the Bavarian capital Munich you start off heading towards Salzburg and Berchtesgaden, where you can visit the legendary Eagle's Nest and the famous salt mines of Bad Reichenhall. After a boatstour on the beautiful Königssee, the crowning stage of our motorcycle tour awaits you: Over serpentines you head towards the National Park Hohe Tauern to the Grossglockner at 2504 meters - this is a unique driving experience. But you reach even greater heights: with the cable car you can go up the next day to the Zugspitze before your road trip leads you to Neuschwanstein Castle and Lake Constance in the French Alsace, before you finish your exciting motorcycle tour through the Alps in Munich.

Day 1
Munich (GER) > Salzburg (AUT)
After an individual journey, tour participants meet in Munich and head from the Bavarian State capital past the picturesque Chiemsee to Salzburg, where you will spend the night.

Day 2
Salzburg (AUT) > Berchtesgaden (GER)
Today you can learn more about the legendary Eagle's Nest, the Kehlsteinhaus atop the summit of the Obersalzberg, which was used by members of the NSDAP for government and social gatherings during the Third Reich. Overnight stay is in Berchtesgaden.

Day 3
Berchtesgaden (GER) > Zell am See (AUT)
The day begins with an optional visit to the salt mine of Bad Reichenhall to Berchtesgaden, before you take a boat trip on the Lake Königssee and spend the night near Zell am See.

Day 4
Zell am See (AUT) > Garmisch-Partenkirchen (GER)
Your motorcycle tour takes you today to the National Park Hohe Tauern in Austria, where the High Alpine Road to the Grossglockner is a delightful challenge for every motorcyclist with its 36 curves and the ascent to 2504 m. Accommodation is in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Day 5
Garmisch-Partenkirchen (GER) > Kempten (GER)
Expect two highlights in Germany on this day: with the cable car, you will head for the top of the Zugspitze, the highest mountain of the country, and then further to the famous fairytale Castle Neuschwanstein in Füssen.

Day 6
Kempten (GER) > Weil am Rhein (GER)
The ride continues to the beautiful Lake Constance and then to the Rheinfall von Schaffhausen the largest waterfall in Europe, before you spend a night in Weil am Rhein.

Day 7
Weil am Rhein (GER) > Riquewihr (FRA)
Today you will arrive in France and cruise through the scenic countryside of the Alsace on the Route des Crêtes. You can take part in a wine tasting and stay in Riquewihr, a typical Alsatian town full of timber-framed houses.

Day 8
Riquewihr (FRA) > Isny (GER)
Back in Germany spend a day on the beautiful country roads of the Black Forest and return to Lake Constance, where you will stay the night in Isny.

Day 9
Isny (GER) > Munich (GER)
On the last day of your motorcycle tour you return to Munich or start your individual journey back home. Before you visit Kloster Andechs, as well as the Ammersee and the Starnberger Lake.
